My career in the real estate industry began in 1975 as an escrow secretary in Las Vegas, Nevada. I worked my way up to Sr Escrow Officer, Branch Manager. After 7 years I decided to move in to the home warranty arena. In March 1983 I started with Ticor Home Warranty, whom was subsequently purchased by American Home Shield. In 1985 I moved to Glendale Arizona to open the West Valley territory. I spent several years as a Sales Manager. After 17 years with AHS I made a move to Fidelity National Home Warranty as the Vice President of Sales outside California. I opened 5 new states and managed those states for 11 years, at which time I made the decision to exit management and come back to my West Valley territory so I didn't have to travel as much. In August of 2021 I made the decision to retire from home warranties after 38 years of service.
The decision wasn't easy but I wanted to pursue another passion. For years I had been sponsoring Self Directed 401k seminars and had set up my own Self Directed 401k for real estate investing as well as other opportunities. I realized that Realtors needed this service more than anybody else I knew, because they are self employed with no company sponsored 401k opportunity. I found that many Realtors didn't know they can have a 401k. I personally believe we must plan for our future as no one else will do that for you.
